In the fourth quarter of 2024, the Kenyan mobile gaming landscape for first-person shooter games on Android showed dynamic trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, these are the highlights for the top five games:

Call of Duty: Mobile Season 8 exhibited a significant rise in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $2.2K by the end of December. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at around 4.4K and reaching a high of 7K in mid-October. The game maintained a strong presence with weekly active users increasing from 41.6K to over 64.5K by the end of the quarter.

Minecraft: Dream it, Build it! saw a gradual increase in weekly revenue, culminating at $336 by late December. However, download data was not available for this period.

Arena Breakout: Realistic FPS had a consistent performance with weekly downloads starting at 4.6K and climbing to nearly 7K by the quarter’s end. Weekly revenue ranged from $210 to $153, and active users steadily rose from 15.9K to 23.6K.

Blood Strike - FPS for all experienced a varied trend in downloads, starting at 1.2K and peaking at 2K in early December. Revenue saw a moderate increase, reaching $211 by late December. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 7.6K and 8.8K.

Kick Monster: Kill Buddy Punch showed growth in downloads from 229 to 829 over the quarter. Revenue gradually increased, ending at $129. Active users also saw an upward trend from 2K to over 4.1K by the end of December.
